InterFlight Studio makes functional art from airplane parts. This desk is made from the rear elevator of a B-25 bomber. I find it quite striking.
On the one hand, I don't want to glorify an aircraft that drops bombs. On the other, it's nice to think that something once so destructive can be turned into something useful and beautiful.
